This material is a very good substitute for fur. The mixture of gray, black, brown and white fibers serves as an excellent material for wings, tails and bodies. The Craft Fur is a very common synthetic hair for tying streamers, as well as for imitating legs or antennae of shrimp flies. This synthetic hair is very soft, very flexible with a pulsating action to create a natural baitfish imitation for fresh and salt water. This versatile hair can be colored with waterproof marker and does not absorb water - the fly is light and easy to cast. The undercoat is suitable as a very fine dubbing for dry flies.
