This premium elk hair in natural color and dyed finds his use in various popular fly patterns. An essential basic material for tying elk caddis, sedge, terrestrial flies or bodies/heads of streamers. Also suitable for backs, wings or tails on dry flies. The long mane of the elk can also be used as tail material on may flies. It offers a realistic look and is very stiff in the lower third.
