Fly Tying Fresh-Saltwater Hooks AHREX SA 280 MINNOW

The Ahrex SA280 Minnow was developed especially for all kinds of bait fish imitations. Whether on Tarpon, GTs, Bonefish or Snooks, any Baitfish Pattern can be tied with this hook. Thanks to the short leg and wide bow it has great hook characteristics. This saltwater hook is made of carbon steel and is therefore stronger and more resistant than conventional steel, but not stainless. The A-Steel finish makes the hook more than four times more resistant to salt water compared to a conventional coating such as Black Nickel. This series is also very well suited for cold salt water.
