If you want to have a safe & strong connection of leaders, without the hassle of knotting the different leader lines, these rings are ideal. In addition to an easy changing of the leader, there is also the advantage that the length of the thicker leader does not shorten, which greatly reduces wear. It is also very effective in knotting different materials, such as fluorocarbon to nylon. Micro rings are often used for nymph fishing with fine leaders and for fishing in European nymph style, but also for streamer fishing. Thanks to its "small" size (type super small) it can be also used for dry fly fishing without affecting the buoyancy of the leader.
