This chickabou als called mini marabou is available in a wide range of white and grizzly dyed colours. Perfect for small woolly buggers, damsel fly nymphs and wet flies. Soft webby fibres that add colour and movement to any fly. Great for tails, necks and wings that need to move. Chickabou can be used in two basic ways. Tied to the back of the fly, Chickabou provides an exceptionally lively looking tail for damsel patterns, dragon flies, woolly buggers and small fry streamers. When tied to the body of the fly, either sparingly or generously, the chickabou produces an incredibly lively breathing and undulating movement with even the slightest water movement. This is deadly for leech patterns and fish imitations. A few examples of use would be throats on nymphs, pectoral fins on sculpin flies and anything else where the fly needs to be alive.
